The CHILD.FOR.CHILD project stems from the consideration that to date, in most of the member states of the European Union, minors in assistance centers and careleavers do not receive adequate support. When the state takes the place of parental figures, it must ensure that minors have what their families of origin are no longer able to offer them. In this social context, the challenges that children have to face are different: the transition to an independent life, adequate support for their school education while staying in the community, and integration into the world of work.
